The architecture office Magnus Kaminiarz & Cie. reveals plans to design three new residential high-rises in the centre of Frankfurt am Main following a workshop process win. The office’s design for the 5.800 square meter area on the former central post office ground close to the shopping mall „My Zeil“, prevailed against numerous renowned competitors.
In addition to the tower ensemble’s distinct design, the project convinces through the careful integration of the three residential towers in the urban context of Frankfurt’s city centre. With the commission of the three new residential towers, the Hamburg-based property developer Becken offers a suitable response to the scarce space resources within Frankfurt’s city centre and creates residential space and a nursery in a central location.
Following the Grand Tower and Tower 90, with the three new towers at Stiftstrasse Magnus Kaminiarz & Cie. broadens its high-rise-portfolio from two to five residential skyscrapers in Frankfurt am Main, making allowance for an increased requirement of inner-city dwellings. The thought-through detailing of the natural stone clad towers and their intriguing floor plan development show a new built, that will architecturally substantially upgrade Frankfurt’s city centre.
