Why is it so shocking? The red beams show that they will be covered in white precast, Tridel's staple. Tridel is not capable of innovative architecture. This is our waterfront and this is the best they can come up with? REALLY?!?!

This is what happens when you get an outside firm to design something. It's creative, it's innovative, it's different. No balconies = A+ Brick = A+ Colour! = A+

Armour does have a point. Greenland could have completely redesigned the towers to be somewhat interesting. It looks more like a Concord Adex product than anything else. If Greenland wanted to make an impact in Toronto, they should have really invested some money into something more visually...
