The podium looks amazing. The garden would be an attractive amenity. I hope it doesn't get watered down from the concept to reality.
 
Grosvenor owns the lot and MoDA is the architect from what I've been able to gather.

Indeed Grosvenor bought the land while back. Grosvenor has been reliable at getting projects off the ground, and hopefully that will be the case with this one too.
 
Are we sure this is actually a proposal and not just a concept?
 
Wow, this one looks awesome. It's refreshing to see a condo tower with so much texture.
 
I think it is a proposal but not 100% sure. i also just sent a email to the company asking

Sadly I believe it is only a concept. It was mentioned in a Herald Article about how Grosvenor has bought the old Sony Store location recently. I'd love to see it go forward as it is in the concept. The combination of design and location would easily jump it up to number 2 on my favourite building list behind Telus Sky.
 
Ok so the company that had the concept (MoDa) gave it to different company as part of invited competition and they chose a different scheme so this will not be built but eventually something will be built in the space.
