This project is actually fairly close to completion. However, it does represent the final building of Boston's Prudential Center- a massive development that has been in the works for over 50 years.

This project is certified LEED Platinum and includes wind turbines in the extensive crown. The base levels will house one of Mario Batali's "Eataly" establishments and will connect directly to the already-existing Prudential Center mall.

Here's a retrospective on progress for 888:

A quick moving project; this photo was taken less than a year ago, in May

By September, steelwork had substantially progressed, and cladding installation had begun

The project's distinctive base had come together by this time as well:

Steel topped out in late October/early November:

Exterior completion and crane removal took place between mid and late January:

A new mall entrance was included in the project's scope:

A broader skyline view: 888 is next to the tall tower on the right. The final pieces of the wind turbines up top are being installed; I'll take pictures the next time I'm close by.
