Three Towers for Calgary's west end. 150m, 125m and 100m. 575 units, 90 000 sq. ft. of retail space.

The site has been cleared for some time and the devlopemnt Permit has been approved by the city. The developer has just recently applied for a building permit.

There has been a fair bit of work around at this site lately. They applied for a BP back in October, so hopefully this is the start of some construction. Their permit is still on hold, but sometimes if approval is imminent they can start some prep work.

Their was some work at the site a while back, but it was only utility work. My best guess is that it will be unlikely to see anything start up. I could be wrong, and hopefully I am but the market is fairly saturated right now.

So, I apologize for the bad cell phone photo, but if you squint, you can see that there are a couple of diggers who have started digging a hole on this site. Looks like this one is a go.

I wonder if there are any drillers or pile drivers on site? That would tell us for sure.
Thanks for the update.

Incidentally, that's a nice shot of that 80s(?) brick condo in the centre right of the frame. Looks nicer than the closer in one from the 2000s.

Hi Group,

The 3 Bldgs to B Blt look to B Interesting even all 3 are Blt at some point in Time. From looking at the Artist Versions and the various lots and what have you One has to Wonder how long it will B, B 4 the background Bldgs are bought - property wise and torn down with NEW Towers on the Rise. With any number of floors- pick your choice as such and see what happens. From My Experience in Appraisels in Mtl (4 Yrs) Property gets to the Point where you can't really hold on to It as its Worth More to Sell for get Your so called Best Deals and Run - Let Others Redevelope the Land/Properties. Just look at Toronto. Calgary maybe in a Depression Now but they don' t last
long when the Developers have Money to Spend. The City wants to Kick start the "West Village Lands" Plus the Lands West of 14th Street. Go For It.

Tnx,
Operater.
