They are digging and are digging REALLY deep!!! I think they have to go down 100 feet for the transit improvements. They also put a solid wall around half of the site obscuring the best angles.

Digging deep. There is a reason that the foundations and basement of this will take till at least next Summer. It looks like they are down about 4 floors at the edges.
