As construction of Canderel's Tour des Canadiens leaps skyward in Montreal, the developer has announced a second phase of the project situated across from the Bell Centre at Jean-d’Estrées and St. Antoine Street West. Designed by Page + Steele / IBI Group Architects and Béïque, Legault, Thuot Architects, the 37-storey condominium will be located within Cadillac Fairview's mixed-use Quad Windsor development.

The glass tower will be lit at night, its tapered top resembling glowing icicles. The historic facade of 1162 Saint-Antoine Street West, which is in dire need of rejuvenation, will be incorporated into the podium of the new development. The lobby has been designed to evoke a "grand hotel," with marble accents and an art deco influence.

The amenity package includes a pool, fitness room, Skylounge, wine bar and games room. The 438 condominium units within the building will start under $200,000 (CAD). Direct access to the Montreal Metro and RESO Underground City will be made possible via a bridge over Saint-Antoine Street.

Like the first phase, Tour des Canadiens 2 will offer priority access to Montreal Canadiens' hockey games, Habs store discounts and private viewing of practice skates. Tour des Canadiens 2 builds on the accomplishments of the first phase of the project, will offer the same privileged access to the team and all the excitement that comes with living adjacent to the Bell Centre," said Geoff Molson, Owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Club de hockey Canadien. "We are proud to both invest in the project and associate our brand with the creation of this unique and modern residential complex."
