Atlanta's affluent Buckhead district is ready to welcome a 30-storey office tower by Tishman Speyer Properties. Dubbed Three Alliance Center, the project is the last phase in the Alliance Center complex.

Now rising at Georgia State Route 400 and Lenox Road, the development consists of 500,000 square feet of rentable space. Its glass curtain wall facade designed by Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects will enable premier views of the Buckhead neighbourhood, which is Atlanta's third largest business district.

A snapshot of the site taken by Google Street View in August shows the tower about even with ground level, with surrounding Alliance Center towers also visible.

Tenants will enjoy close access to the city's light rail transit system via Buckhead MARTA Station, plus a fitness and conference centre integrated with the building. The LEED Gold development is scheduled to open late in 2016. When complete, the Alliance Center complex will represent approximately 10% of Buckhead's 17 million square feet of office space.
