Yet another new highrise condominium is taking shape in Brickell, continuing the burgeoning Miami neighbourhood's obsession with tall luxury housing projects. Climbing to an apex that is comparable to nearby developments like Brickell Heights and SLS Brickell, the 44-storey Bond at Brickell contains 323 units and ground floor retail. Rilea Group is spearheading the development, partnering with Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates to create a rectangular tower outfitted with a British-themed interior.

The under-construction Brickell CityCentre will introduce an additional 600,000 square feet of high-end retail when the dust settles. The centrally located Bond at Brickell is accessible via a variety of transit options, provided by the Metrorail and the free Miami Trolley and Metro Mover. An outdoor fire pit, fitness centre, business facility, children's area, library, screening room, and private owner's lounge provide a healthy selection of recreational options for all clientele. A selection of photographs by acclaimed British photographer Terry O'Neill enlivens the modern building interiors. Images of actor Sean Connery and late Hollywood legends Elizabeth Taylor and David Bowie elevate the sophisticated and artistic synthesis featured in the development.

Forum contributor PhillipPessar recently paid a visit to the site and snapped some photos of the building, which has reached its final height. The blue-tinted glazing now applied to most of the balconies will need a good wash from all the construction grime that has accumulated on the windows. A clean finish should be expected by the time occupants move in and enjoy the expansive amenities package some time this year.
