Melbourne's vertical expansion pushes forward with the assistance of several Asian property developers, including Singapore-based Aspial World Class Land, whose next venture takes the form of a 57-storey tower. The 167-metre Avant is poised to climb above 54 A’Beckett Street in the city's central business district.
The Elenberg Fraser-designed tower features an undulating purple-hued glass exterior. A web of white aluminum fins snakes its way up the tower in a diagrid pattern. A grand entrance will welcome residents to the lace-like tower, where a luxury pool, gym, private dining rooms, and landscaped outdoor decks elevate the living experience.
The 463-unit building will include 135 bicycle spaces and 80 car stalls. The multifaceted development is close to all the action, including RMIT University, the University of Melbourne, Queen Victoria Market, and busy commercial precincts. The city's tram network is within walking distance, with routes on Elizabeth Street and La Trobe Street providing a quick and easy alternative to vehicular transportation.
The successful launch of Australia 108 by World Class Land has already helped earn the Asian developer a solid reputation in the country. Their luxurious residential and commercial properties in Singapore are about to be replicated in Melbourne, as the site has been cleared in anticipation of construction.
