Billed as "the most liveable address in the world's most liveable city," the 79-storey twin-tower Queens Place by developer 3L Alliance is set to transform the Melbourne skyline from its location upon the top of Flagstaff Hill.

Designed via a collaboration between three leading local firms — Cox ArchitectureFender Katsalidis Architects, and Hecker Guthrie — Queens Place will be built to take advantage of everything that Melbourne has to offer. Stunning panoramic views of the cityscape and ocean complement a green-concious podium level, complete with vegetation, and the incorporation of natural materials.

Located within Melbourne's Central Business District, Queens Place will bring residents into the heart of the action, all while providing an urban oasis complete with alleys, laneways, shopping, dining, and other services, creating what the developer has labelled "a Melbourne within Melbourne."

With so much emphasis upon life at the podium level, it is only natural that the star of the show within this development is the relationship fostered between the base of the towers and the surrounding urban environment.

Once inside, residents and their guests will be able to enjoy any of the many luxury amenities on offer, including a pool and spa, private dining rooms and caterer's kitchens, games rooms, private cinemas, a library, a poker and mah jong room, a private garden terrace, a karaoke suite, and even a cigar bar.

Seen below, the lobby will blend seamlessly into the canopied environs of the airy atrium level. The selection of cool, calming tones along with the use of natural materials and the placement of living vegetation all throughout the atrium level will produce an urban oasis, especially during Australia's hot summer months.

Higher up, the podium will feature a beautiful rooftop terrace and pool, where residents can relax in a lounge chair or take a refreshing swim, all while taking in the city lights of Melbourne.

Higher still, from the 69th to 78th floors, the 'Queens Residences' will comprise the penthouse suites, of which there is only one still available. All penthouses will offer premier views of the city, along with spacious, luxury-appointed units featuring an array of high-quality finishes, appliances, and fixtures.

For those looking for a more affordable option, the bulk of residences will be comprised of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, ranging from 45 to 168 square metres, with prices beginning at $449,000 AUD.
