Miami's oceanfront properties are hot commodities, where real estate investors and wealthy buyers won't hesitate to spend millions to reserve their own piece of the Florida coastline. But comparably sized properties just a few blocks away offer more space and privacy while softening the blow to your pocketbook. That's the credo behind Mast Capital's Louver House, a new low-rise boutique condominium with homes between 2,088 and 2,432 square feet.

Accessed by private elevators, the 12 spacious residences — priced at $2.5 million to $3.9 million — feature access to oversized private terraces and lush gardens. A landscaped rooftop pool and dedicated dining areas provide additional conveniences for residents. Designed by Rene Gonzalez Architect, the refined structure seamlessly fits within the urban fabric of the South of Fifth neighbourhood, an affluent area known for its tree-lined streets and immediate access to the main attractions of South Beach.

Though it's located a few blocks inland, the beach will still be a highly accessible asset. That's because Mast Capital is partnering with hospitality management company Boucher Brothers to launch a unique beach concierge program. Residents will be able to enjoy full coverage umbrellas, plush sun beds, towel service, food and beverage options, and a Louver House branded paddle board from First Surf Supply Co. as the property's onsite chauffeur drives passengers to their beachfront destination.

Recent construction photos were captured from a flying drone, showing remarkable perspectives of the building as it takes shape. Floor slabs are continuing to be formed with the concrete-framed structure expected to top off in August. The images display the scale of Louver House — not an overbearing presence, but rather, a welcome and appropriate addition to the neighbourhood. The development's distinct amenities, including its sure-to-be-popular beach concierge program, will be well-utilized by residents when they get their keys in 2017.
