The first development in Concord Pacific's False Creek Central community has been completed. The IBI Architects-designed pair of buildings dubbed One Pacific add 435 units to a parcel of land within walking distance of Vancouver's top attractions and landmarks, including BC Place, Rogers Arena and the bustling Yaletown neighbourhood.

The building's architecture is informed by the nearby ocean waves. The curved floor plates are underscored by meandering balconies that lend a sense of movement to the facade. The rippling effect this produces is best viewed when standing directly underneath the balconies, as the white-painted undersides contrast with the darker toned glazing.

Some of the project's standout amenity spaces are visible to passersby, who have taken a keen interest in one particular exterior module. The sprawling outside space called the Riviera Deck and Spa is defined by its heated pool, which takes the form of an elongated container cantilevering over the edge of the building. It is accompanied by lounge seating, cabanas, and a fire pit.

Other amenities in the project include a catering kitchen and tasting bar, billiards and games area, and a sky garden level with a children's play room and dining terrace. On-site retail and services include a cafe, restaurant, and 25,000-square-foot fitness facility.
