Lithuania's largest city Vilnius is set to receive a Studio Libeskind creation in its business district, a design that will reportedly become a 21st century landmark for the city. The architectural firm won an international competition to build the project, which will be located in close proximity to famed attractions like White Bridge, Neris River, and UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town. The competition was organized by the Vilnius Municipality, the Lithuanian Union of Architects, and Lords LB Asset Management, the latter of which will be funding the development of the project with a $44.5 million investment.

The design comprises a 20,000-square-metre mixed-use complex containing office space and luxury hotel suites. Additionally, the ground floor of the building will house pubic amenities such as a bar, restaurant, and retail outlet as well as hotel and office lobbies. The design of the building includes an 18-storey tower that sits atop a six-storey podium with the two connected by a glass-covered galleria in a deconstructive take on a traditional skyscraper. The layered arrangement of glass structures in the complex are multifaceted as the transparent and opaque surfaces reflect their surroundings.

Studio Libeskind's designs have been received well in Lithuania, as they are currently building the Modern Art Center of Vilnius as well as a sports centre called Vilnius Beacon. The commencement and completion dates for the tower have not yet been set as it is still in its planning stages.
