A joint venture between HES Group and Sunview Companies is giving way to a 24-storey tower to be operated by InterContinental Hotels Group’s Hotel Indigo brand. The project is located in Miami's Brickell neighbourhood, traditionally known as 'Millionaire's Row' and now one of the most prominent financial districts in the country.

The 140-room hotel will have approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting facilities, a full restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and an outdoor pool equipped with a bar and grill. Guest rooms will be appointed with hard-surface flooring and area rugs, plush bedding, and spa-inspired bathrooms.

Renderings for the project depict a boxy design that utilizes black cladding and green glazing as its primary exterior building materials. Rising from a large podium, the tower's upper architectural language is expressed through a series of outstretched balconies. So far, the building's structural skeleton has reached about a quarter of the way up.

The hotel will also feature the Indigo brand's newly created 'Neighbourhood Guide,' a touchscreen display that fosters connectivity between guests, the local neighbourhood, and other Hotel Indigo properties around the world. The $56 million property will be one of several new locations for the brand when it opens in 2017, with other hotels in the works for major European markets like St. Petersburg, Rome, and Madrid
