Since breaking ground back in March, progress at the site of CMC Group's Brickell Flatiron building in central Miami has been moving along nicely, as seen in footage from a recent construction site video released by the developer. Seen below, the brief 21-second video captures the entirety of the excavation pit, complete with a quick glimpse of the Miami Metromover passing overhead and a brilliantly executed three-point turn by a resident Bobcat operator.

Designed by Luis Revuelta & Archiplan USA, the Brickell Flatiron building occupies part of a wedge-shaped parcel of land within a few blocks of Miami Beach. Many of the 64-storey condo tower's future residents will enjoy impressive ocean views.

More than 50% sold, the 549-unit condo has proved popular with customers. Its proximity to Miami Beach, along with the attractions of central Miami, and its easy access to the Miami Metromover, which will pass right alongside the tower's base, have all been major draws for the new development.

Though not wedge-shaped to the extent of its New York-inspired moniker, the Brickell Flatiron will taper slightly in reference to its triangular-shaped lot, allowing the majority of residents a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean. Beyond the views, the tower will come with a broad range of luxury amenities, most of which will be centred around the 64th-floor Sky Spa, including a rooftop pool, spa, and fitness centre, all with breathtaking, 360-degree views. There will also be a set of indoor amenity spaces on the 17th and 18th floors, including, a lap pool, theatre, wine room, event space, play room, and business centre.

With prices ranging from $400,000 to over $14,000,000, residents will have their choice of entry points into the new development, with units available from 700 to 2,600 square feet.

Once complete, the Brickell Flatiron will be a welcome addition to the ever-evolving Biscayne Bay district of central Miami, the busy metropolitan corner of Miami Beach that is becoming a top destination within the city.
