Tropical Miami has played a role in several James Bond films, most notably Goldfinger and Casino Royale, and now a trademark brand of the iconic spy will have a permanent fixture in the city skyline when the 66-storey Aston Martin Residences opens in 2021. The British luxury sports car company is collaborating with global property developer G and G Business Developments on the waterfront project situated at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, bordering the mouth of the Miami River.

The striking luxury residential tower will hold approximately 390 condominiums with unparalleled views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami area. G and G Business Developments, the largest domestic retailer in Argentina, is led by the Coto family. Their drive for innovative buildings proves to be a natural fit with Aston Martin, who has established a world-renowned reputation for their craftsmanship and attention to detail.

With Aston Martin's affinity for sleek design acting as a starting point, Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Mian Anger have envisioned a sail-shaped building that will contain a number of bespoke amenity spaces, including a two-level fitness centre, a full-service spa, and an infinity pool on the 55th floor. Aston Martin’s design team will be responsible for the fit and finish of these spaces. The tower's envy-inducing assemblage of seven penthouses and a duplex penthouse will all come equipped with private pools and terraces. The condominiums below will offer one- to four-bedroom floor plans.

"For over a century Aston Martin has delighted in working with talented people who not only understand our ethos but embody it," said Katia Bassi, VP Aston Martin and Managing Director AM Brands. "G and G Business Developments are just such people and we are excited to be collaborating with them to create truly exemplary residences. This remarkable new venture realizes our long-term vision of entering the world of luxury real estate, and is a natural extension of the Aston Martin brand. We create beautiful cars for those who appreciate automotive fine art, and we are excited to extend our expertise in design and craftsmanship into a project of this calibre. Such ventures enable us to further enhance and grow the brand into new aspects of the luxury world that appeal to both our existing and future customers."

The skyscraper embodies Aston Martin's push towards providing customers with luxury experiences and products beyond the roadway. The Art of Living by Aston Martin portfolio expresses the cultural and design ethos of the famous brand through unique travel adventures and material goods, like the AM37, a 37-foot luxury powerboat. To become a signature element of Aston Martin's branding, the building should begin construction in summer 2017, while potential buyers will get a closer look at the tower's features when the sales centre opens in March.
