Actually, they absolutely would (and did) minimize the amount of tissue taken, and that includes "fat". Adipose tissue isn't just inert matter under the skin. It's connective tissue. You don't make a point of disrupting subcutaneous tissue planes with any kind of incision let alone the very large and aggressive incision in this case. As it stands, Rob's incision was sufficiently large and potentially unstable (due to his excessive girth of course) that it was closed with a surgical mesh. With the way he behaves, I can imagine it getting infected and/or coming apart. Best keep that girdle on.

Wow. You learn something new every day. Thanks!

Seriously? "All he had was lipo?" Can we stop with the ridiculous "911 was an inside job," "vaccines give you autism" type idiotic conspiracy nonsense, as it makes us seem as stupid as the people who believe that crap. You don't get some of the world's leading cancer specialists doing a quick lipo job.

For fuck's sake people, get a grip.

You misquoted me. I said, "I'm wondering if all he had done was lipo..." not that I am utterly convinced of it. All the bizarre behavior at CH just had me thinking there is something not quite right about what's going on. It's not how someone with life threatening cancer would behave, having survived a risky, dangerous operation and a long recovery awaiting him. But then this is a mildly retarded, crack addicted, man-child famewhore with ADD and the personality of a delinquent 6 year old that we're talking about so nothing is too outrageous for this freak.

Ok, so had a tumour removed. Fine. But there is still something very erratic and, frankly, fishy about this whole cancer freakshow, and I'd like to know what the real story is.

Well, the Fords are going about it their own way. And it isn't like Ford Nationals would know or care--as far as they're concerned, Dr. Nick Riviera couldn't be wrong

McMeekin confirms that by the 2018 elections, municipalities will have the option of using ranked ballots.
Don Peat ‏@reporterdonpeat 12m12 minutes ago
John Tory says he wants to see ranked ballot voting in place for the next election #TOpoli #onpoli

Bad new for Rob's 2018 aspirations.

It occurs to me that ranked balloting could be in place just in time for Rob Ford to take another shot at the mayoralty.

He's probably going to forget all about it and jump into a pool or something, right?

It is possible he might think, in an opiate haze, that the drainage bag is a floatie. :p

Well done. Animatronic, I-monk, JWBF. y'all are bringing the funny today. E vva I've noticed you rarely posit a question without having a theory you are chewing on. Do you think the trial delay means something?

So as jelly-like as belly fat feels from the outside, its more like bacon fat when one slices into it?

Bariatric surgery probably isn't for the faint -hearted and quesy. Thx JG.

Ever watched My 600 Pound Life on TLC? They show glimpses of the people getting surgery and it is nasty.

Life in a resort town. Sitting near the main dock and a calm man climbs out of a boat inquiring after a doctor. He had tangled with a moving boat propeller. I could see so far in that fella's thigh . It was firm brownish non- bleeding
Adipose tissue. Freaky. Stays with me.

It's only a matter of time before he shows us his scar...

I saw him lifting up his moo-moo shirt that day at City Hall, it looked like a bandage underneath for the very brief glimpse we got. And he was high on painkillers, and that's fine. He said (paraphrasing) "... I have a drain in to remove food..." he meant fluid. The clip repeated a half hour later, I listened carefully and he definitely said "food".
