Love how it's shaping up in there. Looks like just the kinda place I'll lean into a pint before getting on the GO.

The WURST is yet to come! But the hoarding is now down and they are busy stocking the bar etc. Should be open VERY soon.,

Flying home from Halifax on Thursday, will take the UPX then LSW to Oakville get back home (I rejected a drive from Pearson because I love transit). I REALLY want to be able to grab lunch there on the way.

anyone care to guess what these are for?

WVRST opened today.
Is it just as glorious as their original location on King? The King location has so much charm and charisma, I feel this Union Station location would feel like a fast-food court in the middle of a busy pedestrian walkway by comparison, cheapening the WVRST brand as the result.

I can't speak from experience, only opinion BUT the feel I get from Amano, Union Chicken and Wvrst is that they are small scale, glorified fast food outlets. The Bay on Queen has something similar in the basement in their Food Hall. At the Bay you basically have a Sbarro style restaurant.

The places in Union are not somewhere I would consider for a sit down meal while waiting for a train.
