I was wondering if those four vertical columns filled with rebar are going to be closed up with a wooden plank or steel mold. When they start to pour the concrete in either one of those methods. I can't wait to see it happen if it's a steal mold to speed up the construction !

Today.

Does anyone know what on the first floor of this tower? Will there be any elevators on that floor etc?

Friday update....more 'high wire / beam' activity (taken at a couple of times this afternoon). Also noticed several new cross-beam angled doohickeys, visible in several photos.

Finally a new scaffolding type structure going up here around 3 PM...(NW area between crane and NW yellow support tower).

This construction is starting to become interesting watching how they're forming and pouring the concrete. In sections from those huge rebar beams as you can see in the photos up above!

We got spoiled by those few days of columns going up. Everyday that is just regular ole construction feels lame. Thanks @Benito for the photos nonetheless though! Hopefully more exciting construction days to come soon!
I wonder if we'll get a similar couple days where they do the steel for the next level all at once as well.

In my limited understanding of how this works is that with office buildings that use steel, the steel structure is worked on first, with the concrete encasing following behind it. I think that's what is going on here above grade.
