Edit to add: While I was taking this last shot.......I heard someone yell at me......" Is that for the Daily Bugle or something else"..........I turned to see an adult male....in a head to toe Spiderman costume, passing me on a skateboard.

He oft skates by Bloor W. near my area (that Annex). At one time he was giving us the daily updates on when Sony and Marvel where having a tiff over his brand pre-Covid while doing so. So he's quite useful as well as amusing...
 
Yeah I used to see him a lot in the Annex and Kensington. Now that we've moved out east and never leave the apartment, I haven't seen him in quite a while.

(More seriously though...if that was putting you on the uncomfortable spot there, that wasn't my intention to do so. So my apologies over stepping that boundary. :( )

Maybe they intend on digging until they discover some red hot magma? The digging never ends apparently.
 
It looks like they have also done some work flattening the ground out for the new Harbour street extension
