I look forward to the Corona LRT entrance being revamped as part of this Parks project. Right now it's a major detriment to passersby on the north Jasper Ave sidewalk.

Yes, the stairs are so narrow and the entrance causes the sidewalk to narrow a lot too.

I would've thought the same but not entirely sure. If they are, then I'd expect to see all of the buildings in addition to El Mirador come down soon.

My guess is the demolition is phased. As Chris noted, the parkade is likely connected, which make sense.

Multiple/many construction permits can be issued as part of the overall development permit.

Good ol' Oil City Roadhouse. It was the home of the Oil City Tent Event, and it holds the record # of times Ol' Steve didn't get kicked out when he should have been.
