next week owner will put the TD Bank up for auction, better go take out all your money 😂🤣😂 or go bid in the auction
I always wanted my own home movie theatre. None of you better outbid me on these auctions....
...I got a good thing going with those 107 movie seats priced at $2.50.
 
So what's the next step for this mall? The owner is obviously trying to make a last attempt to make some cash, we thinking demo/sell the land?

Rumor has it that Amazon has purchased the site. Anyone else hear this??
 
Interesting, new fulfillment center? Seems like an odd place for it if so. Considering the retail opportunity.

No official application in yet; but that is my assumption.

(I haven't seen any plans)

maybe amazon will open more of its physical stores + fulfilment centers + sell off some of the land to condos ,office, other retail etc... , but i don't know how big these amazon fulfilment centers have to be.

My guess Amazon wants a parcel of land in Canada's largest city to build a sprawling fulfillment centre. Like what they did in the Chicago area.

God this thing is ugly.

Amazon would require a rezoning - the land around Woodbine Centre and Woodbine Racetrack is still subject to a City of Etobicoke zoning bylaw. This is a better place for a mixed use residential and commercial development along with an extension of the Finch LRT to the planned Woodbine GO Station.

I wouldn't put it past the province to issue a MZO. It's in Ford Nation territory, and Ford would tout the "job creation" from Amazon's plans, never mind how crappy Amazon jobs are.
