Thats what I'm talking about.
I agree it looks best at dusk. You can still see the three dimensionality of the diamonds but with the added bonus of the lighting.

Contrary to many here, I don't think LED strips would look better; at least not if they were all solidly lit at the same intensity. Maybe if they faded between the points to offer a similar effect but just more visible, but I really think a solid lattice of LED strips following the lines between the diamonds like the Bank of China Tower would look worse. It's not the effect they're going for here.

In a rare occurrence, the lighting in the renders looks a lot like the final product:

Working top down. Assuming the construction trailers and deliveries are going on top of the garage once poured?

Then they still have to excavate under the west (right) crane down to P4 at some point. I guess the electrical conduits near the top surface as previously viewed needed a bridge in this process.

The crane was blocking my view and was politely moved into position for me.

You're totally right. The lighting in the renderings do come close to the final product.

I really cannot describe how disappointing the lighting on the diamonds is. I have no idea why they didnt just go with LED strips, theres literally nothing they can do with the current lights that they couldn't do with LED strips

I like it better this way. It creates a more alluring shimmering feeling rather than the in your face bold feeling the LED strips would have created. Can't please everyone!

To be fair, LEDs are quite flexible and you could probably have a very diffused and subtle look that's more visible at night and with office lights on.

Let's be honest though, if we're just debating the lighting treatment and wishing it was a bit taler, it's definitely a home-run project.

I was getting at what penlasdle said in terms of LED versatility. You could create the same effect as present with the LEDs but also control brightness, colour etc.

That said. I also agree this is a great project and it's more a nitpick than it is a complaint

Stairs up to the course seem to be quite close to wrapping up.

You know, the treatment along/under the Gardiner is so well done that it actually gives me hope that some interventions elsewhere beneath the monster can improve the condition.

In a city quite shy on good detailing, it’s very refreshing to see the caliber here — even on the utilities screen:

Over/Under how many days do we want to put for the city coming along and doing some kind of utility cut around the Gardiner side of this building? I say 45 days sounds fair, no?
