You would need it anyways if you built it beside the 407. At every exit you would need an overpass or an underpass. You would need to fill in valleys or build bridges. The only way to avoid it is to build tracks in the center median like an LRT, but you still need a divider to prevent traffic from crashing into LRT cars.

Or just run buses on the right shoulder, and you can build stations under the overpass.
Have you looked at the Various EA's for the 407 BRT?? If you had looked, it will show where the stations will be as well getting under the roads crossing it.

How long has MTO being talking about the 407 BRT that is now in the Big Move Plan for Metrolinx??

Back in 2008, I worked with the deputy Mayor For Markham and a few councilors for York Region on an business case of having an LRT running from Markham to Sq One by the 407 and Mississauga Transitway that was shot down by MTO and Metrolinx at that time.

If you build the ROW correctly from day one, you can have both buses and LRV's using the ROW at the same time. At the end of the day in our time, it will be only for buses, as it will be an trunk line with many routes entering and leaving it at various points. Until there is great ridership going from end to end to justify a, LRT line, any thought of one is dead at this time.

There isn't enough traffic on the 407 to justify bus lanes but they would be useful when getting from the highway to the terminal unless they decide to move the bus stations to on the actual highway.

What would potential passengers have to endure to get to the "bus stations"? Traffic ramps? Parking lots? Auto priority traffic signals? Wind swept wilderness?

You could build something like what VIVA did at Bayview and Highway 7 where an elevator connects the upper and lower station. Similar to renforth station. But it needs a washroom and heated shelters.

Are you mocking all gender washrooms? Because that can be considered discrimination...

The wording probably should be mocked, for two reasons.

1) We all ready have a word for this, Unisex. And simply showing the male/female iconography would cover everyone.

2) Since when did people using a wheelchair get their own gender?

Unisex, Accessible washroom. There ya go.

Inclusivity should not be ridiculed; labourious misuse of language and iconography to appear inclusive should be.

You are missing the point that there will be no bus terminals on the 407 and clearly you don't know about the 407 BRT ROW that will beside the 407

All gender is actually the common name and the norm now, but who are we to argue with the Minister of Bathrooms.

Not knowing much on the topic, but Unisex may exclude groups. Personally, 'washroom' would suffice but I get that may cause confusion for those expecting traditional gender separations.

All gender is the correct term. There is at least 81 different genders. Not just male or female
