It's pretty obvious to me that this is being turned over to the city as we speak. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Saturday or Sunday opening at this point.

My guess (and it's a guess because everyone is exceedingly cautious) is that it'll open between Oct 30-Nov 3.

I would fully expect a minimum of two weeks notice to ensure a smooth transition.

Still no news on third party independent certification which is necessary for line opening and then it will be looked by city lawyers

I only wish they had two escalators in that space. It would make for efficient movement of people and you could still have an escalator taking people up to street level if you had to close one down for maintenance.

Given the other options nearby, I'm guessing that they felt that they were covered here, but yes, that would have made sense given the level of grit our climate necessitates and the impact that has on those poor innocent machines.
