True, but there is the new orders down from Gov't of Ontario that I believe is forcing the change to accept it in tighter areas. Someone correct me or explain further if they can.

What’s odd about this one is I believe it was orchestrated before that change (which still doesn’t have the implementing provincial regulations out to actually detail how it would work, btw).
I imagine the only reason it happened was driven by Green P being involved.

The city has this site listed as one of their "CITY-OWNED ‘HOUSING READY’ SITES" - with 350 units identified here.
