Porsche sells bikes.I think the cafe/patio is a great idea! Good location for it (next to new bike and walking paths!). Will capture lots of ancillary revenue for the dealership (undoubtedly help with the cyclicality of selling >$200K cars), promote the brand (funny how quickly Toronto hipsters become wealthy spendthrifts in Toronto), and good use of the location. IMO.
$10,000 and up e bikes.Porsche sells bikes.
People who can afford these bikes can afford coffee$10,000 and up e bikes.
As it really does feel like a big joke. On one hand, if it gets it out of Corktown and distillery then may all the other lots join them.I'm sure even Porsche owners(and potential owners) are deserving of a place of worship, but please don't tell me that we just spent millions constructing a new riverbed, creating a new island, and transporting three beautiful new bridges over 2000km only to allow an upscale car dealership to be built on the city's last, undeveloped prime waterfront land. I'm all for residential communities with a healthy mix of commercial and even light industrial...it's done quite well in many European countries such as The Netherlands. I also understand the city's need for immediate property tax revenue to pay for this wonderful transformation of our portlands, but I do wonder if there isn't a better spot for this one.
