I think you are the only one who thinks this.
I wouldn't say ugly - but I'm definitely not blown away by the design...

Take away the supertall aspect, and take away the "Foster & Partners" name, and it's a pretty bland building that looks like another downtown office.

There almost feels like an expectation on this site, that we HAVE to like this building. Group-think if you ask me.

It's a welcome relief from the sea of blue/green towers that have blanketed Toronto over the last 20 years. For that alone I will take it. It's def a cool looking condo tower.

Once complete, I think it will look quite nice. I hope they do add some type of exterior lighting feature as I feel the high quality materials would look great with a bit of ambient lighting. Not holding my breath on that though with Tridel at the helm. Cost cutting will be the name of the game here I can imagine.

Have you seen Tridel quality? They are best condo builders in the GTA bar none. Some of their previous work was not to everyone's taste but their buildings stand the test of time.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm sure I'm not in the majority. Still, doesn't it just give you mid 90s office vibes?

That's exactly why at minimum it's a decent looking building. Anything that's not a blue/green rectangle is a welcome addition, and this is much more then that.

An office tower vibe? - Yes 80s/90s for sure, a mix of Toronto meets Hong Kong. Personally think a more office centric design on this corner works well in comparison with most of the recent tall residential projects in the city. Good to have a bit of variation here.
