Couldn't have even curved the blocks to match the corner... This reeks of 'someone knew someone at the vendor'.

Could have at least picked a Canadian vendor. The design of these is almost spiteful - if I didn't know better I'd say they hired someone from MTL, CAL, VAN who hates Toronto to do this as a mean joke on us.

What a dreadful welcome to the city for all the travelers coming here from Pearson, Billy Bishop, GO, and Via.

The refusal to give out any information on what they had proposed is a dead giveaway. I can't wait to find out how much this exercise managed to cost as well.

Phase 1 (what we are seeing now) cost ca $2 million! Phase 2 bids closed recently so expect another $2-3 million!

What a HUGE waste of time, money and effort.
