Question is: is it mid-market or luxury?

My gut tells me luxury, but I'm just guessing right now....no details were provided since the deal is still being finalized.

Not that this is particularly helpful - here's the leasing brochure for the space. Interesting to note that Cushman isn't marketing the other space in 100 Bloor (it would lead me to speculate that PB and W-S resigned their leases). This is a really great space from a branding perspective, however, it will have to be a marquee tenant that needs a lot of space. Comparatively most luxury retailers have smaller stores than this space's 15,000 square feet.

D+G - 9,000
Hermes - 4,000
Channel - 7,000
Prada - 6,000

As an aside - here's the brochure for the old Tiffany's spot:

Suitsupply opens Feb 15, 2014......at 9-11 Hazelton Ave.

The yucky cosmetics store next to Teavana shut down just before the new year. Didn't even know they were closing until I saw the sales. That store never should have been there in the first place. Any idea who is taking over? Looks like hoarding is already going up.

Has MBCO has closed? I walked by around 4 PM and it was dark. They usually close around 7, don't they? They have furniture stacked outside, though.

J crew is almost open. Walked by and they looked pretty close to finishing the inside - mannequins were there and shelves were being installed.

The Shoppers Drug Mart at Yonge & Charles will be expanding. I was told they were going to add a full or partial 2nd floor. I'm guessing it's to add more groceries.
