I was hoping they'd consider that with REM De l'est but the announcement was all quiet on it but talked about further extensions on the south shore.

I do hope they bundle the extension of REM to Dorval into this phase. That is subject to the airport going ahead with the proposed REM station.

What an interesting piece of news. Just looked this proposal up on a map. Downtown Montreal will have 3 parallel lines - Orange, REM and Green. The northern arm along Dickson could see an interchange with l'Assomption on the green line, the future Jean Talon/Lacordaire station of the blue line...
