Recently there's a good amount of street lights malfunctioning as well. I saw about 4 or 5 the other night and they're strobing a good amount. Not very pleasant to be around, I feel sorry for those living in the townhomes at the north east side.
It's great waiting trying to make a left onto dunbloor heading west and you get stuck at the light for no reason. There is no traffic flow in this area, there is no peds or cyclists around but traffic has to wait and idle for no reason. I try to avoid this area by taking side streets which...
How many of you live in the area? I moved here in the mid 90's because it wasn't densely populated and there was so much greenery. This whole development is making want to leave here as soon as I can, I rather see this density in the downtown core and not so much here. There will be so much...
I drive by everyday and I remember seeing the A380's twice a week at Pearson up until some part in 2019 when Emirates cut back the flights due to passenger load.
Also seems like the old power plant is being torn down since at least May
The notice says 4-6 weeks but who knows really.
The trio of Montgomery mills is no more, the 2 on the northside of Mabelle are owned and managed by will-star and the south one is northstar. Northstar has a application to build 57 story building on the backside where the tennis courts are and...
I think Condo's may get hit with this, Who wants to live in such close proximity during a outbreak. I'm saving up to leave Etobicoke and head out somewhere with a little bit of land to have a garden and solar power back up.
Insolvency will be the biggest hit to the housing market with people...
Which is that? I miss the old Sherway, It's lost so much of it soul and just blah now. I think a arcade in the old Victoria secret location would do well.
Sherway seems to be getting hit good, I predict William Sonoma will close there and maybe a few others. Funny thing is Cloverdale may have more foot traffic at the moment due to Rexall, Metro, LCBO and Dollarama.
The Drake general store is closing at Sherway and so is London Links.
I went around the mall and counted 19 store fronts either closing, closed or never even opened. I feel CF dropped the ball making that mall into something that it isn't ment to be.
I live in the area and while this will be a welcome change for many it will be a traffic nightmare as well as a huge pollution increase do to the timing of the lights and congestion.
I drove through it today and it was a mess, lanes partially blocked off and ending abruptly so I can see there...
