The well is pretty good as well.

Mississauga has a LOT of potential. I mean, if Toronto has to be a Grade A Megacity, Its suburbs have to develop into proper satellite cities themselves. That is the only way of creating a proper mega region. If Toronto gets the huge headquarters, then Mississauga could get the operation parks...

    Exactly !!

    Toronto vs Melbourne

Well many of their towers are glass monoliths. you may like them, I don't. I still believe that The One or Gehry will turn out a lot better than the recent melbourne glass and gold towers. Moreover Melbourne being hot really surprises me with their overuse of glass. Also, another opinion, the...

Still looks fairly tall. Hopefully the design is good.

    Toronto vs Melbourne

Really ??? I find Melbourne really bland and rather a smaller version of Toronto. Their new buildings are all glass as well. For me, the most jaw-dropping skyline is Chicago (with its iconic towers), Singapore (Just Brilliant) and Shenzhen (Due to the brilliant lighting and density). Melbourne...

The colour of the panels was something that I had sooooooo wished to have in Toronto. With lighting inside, I see the curtain wall giving warm, golden and earthy hues that Toronto sorely lacks.

Seeing this picture, It seems essential that a tall pinnacle one Yonge project balance out the sheer verticality of the CN tower and surrounding bank towers. While some towers seem prominent, we still see that our skyline from the postcard view still centres on CN tower and a few...

Yes but Toronto has so many more. The density is crazy here. Melbourne can barely compete with Toronto in skyscrapers. Toronto is competing and HAS TO compete with the likes of Chicago and New York. Competing with B-grade cities like Melbourne is not an option anymore.

The One needs those Super columns due to a very peculiar ground floor retail design at the request of a certain fruit company.

I have visited hundreds of cities around the world. And Toronto looks far from "shabby". It has overhead wires but so do Tokyo, Hongkong, and many other cities. It is certainly not overflowing with garbage. Ever been to New York or Chicago? And pothole is a problem that any city with a climate...

Sometimes it's just pathetic you guys complaining about these first-world problems. Every day hearing my Canadian friends complaining endlessly despite living in such luxury. There ARE actual problems in this world.

This project seems to have a very "European" vibe to it.
