Fair enough. The other design I sketched for the modified truss showing trucks and cars stuck in gridlock while the actual people and bikes move through the bridge. It's shown just below the text. It was way too hard to draw though so for the sake of getting a 3D rendering together I worked...

Worm? Why'd you call it "Worm"? It's not a bit like a worm though I do like it. I feel you could amp up the optical effects if it had squeezed squares in other places than the ends. Not just one stretched area through the middle, more like compression waves over the whole length. Good luck. M

Wow, but... This would be great. It sure would be pretty. I'm seeing it as 1.5 m below the specified clearance and the entrance on Front ST is built out on fill that the railway is going to protest. I hope I'm wrong about these things. M

No Ramps Lots of submissions have no entrance ramps to deal with the need to have the bridge high enough above the tracks. This is one. Nevertheless, I quite like this concept, It looks like it would stay up if built and answers the outcry for cable suspension. I think someone should pay you to...

Fun with 3D drawing programs Hi, as pretty as the drawing and the concept is there is no structure to this bridge, no supporting post as you say but also no structural elements to form the upper span of a truss. This needs a serious reality check.

No Bikes? I love the european atmosphere that your design conveys. My comment is that I don't see it as being very bike friendly as drawn here. You'll need some ramps, big ones to get it high enough to clear the trains. Very well done nonetheless. Martincan
