Advice re: Animal Waste in Building

Hi all, Wasn't sure where to post this but looking for some advice. My partner and I own a condo unit and we noticed the other day when we stepped onto our balcony that it REEKED like urine and when we looked we saw dried pools of it on our railing and light fixture, it's caked on the balcony...

This morning when I walked by the scaffolding was being taken down so thought when I went by again more might be revealed. Not much came down but it did reveal that the clock tower has a spire painted in (progress) Pride colours which is a nice nod to its LGBTQ heritage

Not the best pic but was rushing by and saw that the restored clock tower is now visible!

100% agree. When people are commuting in a dark underground to go to their jobs day in and day out, the last thing you want to see is something so depressing and ghastly. I despise it. (Edited because I rethought my wording)

Damn, I was hoping that by some miracle Ryerson would take it and do something nice with it. It’s gonna be PROMINENT in my view so I had hopes, but I guess I’m outta luck.

Chicago also still has Midway Airport with orange(?) line access. Toronto wouldn’t have that if we got rid of Billy Bishop. (And Hamilton doesn’t count.). I live downtown and don’t have.a car and use the airport a lot to fly to Montreal, Chicago, DC, NYC and Boston for weekend trips.

    Church-Wellesley Village

As someone who’s gay, I find your insistence that gay villages no longer provide a safe space both laughable and insulting. Wanting to save the country’s largest city’s gay village does not preclude us from also tackling public housing or fentanyl deaths. Also, while Drag isn’t my thing...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Was just on Harbord so my partner could drop into CAFE. As with every time I'm there, someone was parked in the bike lane on the north side of Harbord. I saw him come out of CAFE, get into his car and drive off. Then I watched a family with a small child on bikes almost get hit by a car...

    Loblaws

I noticed that there is construction at the Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws where the Nutella Cafe used to be. Anyone know if it’s being torn out, rebuilt, repurposed, etc?

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

Apologies if this is not the right forum for this, but looking to see if anyone has any insight on the Union to Peterborough service? Looking to go to Peterborough on Saturday and a bit confused by the offerings. They say it'll take 3h13 to get there. 1 hour on the train to Oshawa, then an...

Curious if you’ve ever lived above floor 20 because I’m on the 29th floor with a glass balcony and ive never had an issue. It’s nice to have somewhere to step outside when you’re otherwise trapped in a small condo box. Actually would never buy a unit without a balcony just for that reason.
