The worst new building in Toronto, even more so than its twin College Park. Not an ounce of creativity or single thought to design other then the most for the least amount of money and effort. Shame on LCBO

So sad to see the historic Victorian row houses demolished. So much for heritage preservation in Toronto. Shame on the city. I'm sure many people have a fond remembrance of the International Youth Hostel that was located there.

Great to see they are saving the townhouses. Great opportunity for restaurants, cafes and bars. What is happening to the historic row-houses on Widmer facing the Cineplex that now house the Toronto Youth Hostel?

We pay many qualified city planners who hopefully know how to plan for growth and things like transit, yet the OMB often disregards careful planning in favour of developers demands. We don't listen to planners when it come to our transit plans either, but let highly unqualified politicians...

It's about time. I think the OMB (its officers) is highly susceptible to bribes and developers pay offs. I don't think everything that passes through it was on the total up and up. Who sits on the board, what are their qualifications and who appointed them?

I wonder how they solved the issue of entering the parking garage off the back lane. The 2 new condos behind were worried that a third giant building would add too much traffic in the lane and exiting onto Balmuto Street. In addition service vehicles would need to use this narrow lane for all 3...

How did Cresford get permission to cut down the 2 mature Maple trees on the north edge of the site? Another example of "it's easier to beg for forgiveness that ask for permission"

How did the developer get permission to tear down the 3 century homes on the north side of the site, on Dundonald?

Is Crescent town still experiencing cockroaches and bed bugs? I'm interested in buying a unit there.
