Yea my first thought was isn't Lakeshore Drive just lined the entire way up Lake Michigan with highrises way up to almost Evanston! The poster is just being dishonest because they do not like tall buildings and instead of saying that they'd prefer something shorter they're just lying to get...

St Michaels is a private school not a public park and I couldn't care at all about it. The buildings at this intersection will be similar in scale to the buildings directly across the street on the south east and north west corners, which you'd know if you were being honest. And there are 2...

The building could be 100 floors, it'd still never cast a shadow on the park lol not how shadows work, if Toronto was in the southern hemisphere then you'd have a point, but unfortunately for you Toronto is in the northern hemisphere.

There won't be any shadows on the park as the buildings lie to the north of it, and this site is also directly above a subway stop. As a local of this area too, the scale is great. Also why would Loblaws be opposed to new customers? None of your criticisms are valid, and there are valid...

They did demolition work in 2020 and were digging down in 2021. This is going slowly sure but this definitely hasn't been under construction since 2017.

I see deer up in Thistetown once in a while. Not sure how common they are, but they definitely move along the ravines.

Will the stations be renamed at all? Nearly half of them are already existing names for stations

I prefer the old design as well. However, the new design is still far superior compared to most architecture in the city being constructed in the last decade We've become ungrateful in Toronto, we have so many good buildings going up that whatever new comes along has to be the best in the...

You are on a website called Urban Toronto yet you hate the idea of urbanity and endorse suburbanity?!?!?! The suburbs are the largest contributers to toxic air and water and the reason farm land is becoming more scarce. I like the idea of dense urban living, but you know I live in Collingwood...
