I feel for the people who own the apartments right under those overhangs. They aren't going to get any light! It's a nice building, but that particular gimmick was not a good idea.
If the underside is painted or clad in white panel, it shouldn't be that bad!

That's some good glass for the towers. I mean, if these had a height chop thatd be great, but at least there's quality in this oroject.
 
St. Lawrence Condos and those black lamp posts are the only attractive things in that entire shot. So much ugly in every direction.
Hmmm, I don't know... IMO, I quite like Old Yorke Place II (25 George St.) and New Town of York (135 George St.). They've started to grow on me over the years. There's some charm about them.

I agree. I find the midrise plan in the area to have created some beautiful projects. Part of me still wishes this area would be strictly midrise, but I can see that not being realistic at all in this day and age of high growth rates and land values. (But I can dream damnit!)
