This old house which suffered fire damage a few years ago is being converted into a fourplex multi-unit building, with a new addition built on top. It's one block north of Dufferin subway station.

Work on 1129 Dufferin Street hasn't begun yet, but this house (with the yellow brick) a few doors south if it looks like it may give an idea what may happen with a restored front facade and rear addition:

I've always wondered what the deal was with the little one-story guy with the giant "M" painted on front. Just one of those fun, inexplicable things.
