Nice update, but don't get into an accident!
No traffic behind me and stop to shoot this view. Still no traffic when I move as it was the lake Shore ramp.

A shame the mural isn't facing the lake. One of the few buildings in the city where the back looks better than the front.
Looks nice, but I'm not sure that the best place for an art installation is so that only drivers can see it.

Just speaks to how car centric Toronto is.

Toronto even asked for Mr. Christie's water tower to be moved from a future park, closer to the future GO station, so commuters can have something nice to look at!?

As a resident, I would prefer to have sound barriers on highways and have art where it can be administered properly, but maybe that's just me ...

Murals aside, the (nearly) finished towers look better than the renderings. They look like suburban condo towers from the 90s, but much better than the renderings ...

Agreed. I was half expecting them to look like huge concrete overbearing monstrosities by the lake as they were being built but that's not really the case. The architecture isn't award winning by any means but the dark glass conbined with those vertical accents give it decent sense of cohesiveness.

The bulky podium is a bit overbearing but it's not like the north side of Lake Shore exactly has any street life at that spot to begin with.

I guess you're suggesting the towers be orioented the other way around? Having this size of a mural on the front is absurd. I'd rather the glass. Unless you want to excecute the artwork on glass directly, in which case it wouldn't be a mural but stained glass lol.
