Silly question time...and one that has likely been asked and answered before, so it maybe annoying as well as silly...

...but how many more of those bridges will we expect to see floated up the ye ole St. Lawrence for

1 more ... the 2nd Cherry St. North bridge that will parallel the first. Arriving Spring 2022.

This has been noted, many times, in this thread;

Here is the 'bridge schedule' from the Sept 2021 meeting of FARM;

The key accomplishments for last quarter include:
• West half of Commissioners Street bridge delivered to site
• Continued with steel fabrication of bridge superstructures for delivery to site beginning in Q1 of 2021/22 in accordance with the following schedule:
East half of Commissioners (scheduled for August 2021 delivery)
o Cherry South (scheduled for October 2021 delivery), and
o Cherry North vehicular (scheduled for April 2022 delivery

One more for the Keating Channel road in 2022. If and when the LRT goes into the Portland, there will be another LRT bridge beside this bridge. 2040-50 should see an Commissioner LRT bridge with hopes it will be sooner than later and that it.

I told you it was an annoying question. >.<

...er, thanks for posting that again! And I hope you don't have to post that again...though I'm pretty sure you'll have to, but least I won't be the one asking again. 😼

As a follow up, there are 2 other bridges to be built, but no way like these bridges. The bridges should be built local and ship in section. One is over the Keating Channel near the mouth of the Don. The second will be from the Jarvis slip area to the park. There maybe a 3rd one and no clear info on it and will be over the Keating Channel

The first shot of the bridge was at 7:05 Coming into the shipping channel to the harbour. Not the greatest shots with a non DSLR camera that came back from repairs a few weeks ago and looks like needs to go back.

Lot more up on site
