I think it's safe to say G+C is just completely useless when it comes to designing anything, let alone semi-competent design work.

I wont bother critiquing it, because they dont bother to even care about their work.

I expected nothing from this proposal and yet I'm disappointed! Haha

One thing about the new design though is that the area fronting Jopling is designated as commercial/community space. I believe it used to be residential units in the old design. And, they also moved the driveway from the god-awful location between the buildings over to the North side of the lot. It's much less intrusive in this new setup.

New renderings are updated in the database. The following project information is updated. The total building heights remain the same at 109.60m & 90.40m. The total unit count changed from 697 units to 634 units. Finally, the parking space count increased from 306 parking spaces to 398 parking spaces.

The rendering is taken from the architectural plan via Site Plan Approval:

Just noticed this past week that they have now boarded up all the houses along Jopling...maybe this is finally moving ahead soon?

Demolition Permits have been applied for, but not yet granted.

However, none of the 'New Building' applications seem to have been filed yet.
