yeah, and if you look at the hallway there seems to be a door just leading to it so if it was soemone's private terrace that would be weird
It could just be for utilities, though. Seems odd that it would be a common rooftop, and the marketing wouldn't mention it.

I guess in the renderings of the building there seems to be some sort of patio there:

where do i get access to this? I'm nervous because my unit is one of the ones that wraps around the elevator shaft so I'm hoping it's not too loud :(

When do people actually think occupancy will begin?
Our latest date was April/May (we are a townhome though). I suspect they will start with the lower floors of the condos once the interiors are finished. Honestly, I'm sort of hopeful that it takes a bit longer, so that we can have a bit more economic certainty when deciding between fixed/variable rate mortgages. I don't mind renting for a few more months.

My last update was March 2023 - yeah I'm getting nervous about the interest rates - I've been approved for the mortgage with the stress test but you never know these days

If townhomes occupy after all floors of the condo, then condo units would probably have occupancy scheduled for sometime at the beginning of the year? Can anyone with a condo confirm, if you are comfortable sharing that information?

I didn't even know that was an option! My bank told me I can't actually secure a mortgage until I occupy
1) Make sure the agent you're speaking with is a mortgage specialist for the bank, and not a broker. Brokers cannot do pre-con deals
2) Ask the bank you're looking for a firm approval with a builder's rate hold (or rate cap) for 12/18/24 months -- not a pre-approval; that's for resales.

Good luck!

Doesn't seem like there's been a lot of progress in the past 3 months... at least on the exterior.
Last we heard from the builder, the tentative occupancy for our higher-floor unit in the midrise is April 2023.
What do you guys think, are we still on track? 🤞
