I generally like skateboarders. They help to animate public spaces and by using them in novel and interesting ways. Their stunts can be fun to watch. A little wax on concrete curbs isn't a big deal in my opinion. I'm also a huge fan of parkour in public spaces.
 
In any event, pretty much any hobby is a dumb way to spend a Saturday afternoon if it's not a hobby you like doing. I encourage everyone, if you don't like skateboarding, don't spend your Saturday doing it.
 
Fences are down! Grass looks really nice. Even the south lawn (originally fenced off) is open. Looks like a tiny bit of landscaping is left around the garage entrance

Surely, the bouncy castle is for the children of graduate students and not for the students themselves? Or is 18 the new 6?
