I believe these bridges are being built three tracks wide with a temporary wall on the north/western side. Once this half of the bridges are completed work will move to the north/western side with tear down of the old bridge structures and building of new retaining walls, new berm fill and the other half of the bridges for the other 3 tracks.
I think you're right. I found these videos from Metrolinx showing pretty much exactly what you're describing.
The second video is a bit confusing though, because it says space for three GO tracks will be built in this phase of construction, though the graphic in that same video shows four sets of tracks. I'm guessing that you are right and the bridge structure for the fourth GO track will come after the re-alignment when they build the two Ontario line tracks.
This is the webpage where I found the videos. It's probably been posted here before, but if you haven't read it, it has a lot of other interesting resources too.

I wouldn't be so quick to claim that.
The early years of The Crosstown seemed to move quite well. The tunnel boring moved along very well and without major issues.
The last few years have been the worst with the building of the stations, and now all these "unknown" deficiencies they've encountered.

While I agree once construction started the initial work on the Crosstown was quick, I will say that it took FOREVER from the initial idea of the Crosstown (2006) to actual shovels in the ground (late 2011) and the Ontario Line happened much quicker (if we ignore 60 years of the DRL planning)

That did seem faster with the Ontario Line to me.

But at the end of the day, this is an even more complex project than the Crosstown. So its comparing apples to oranges. If this project goes faster than Crosstown that will really be impressive.

2006 to 2011 seems lightening fast to me for the Crosstown - ignoring the shovels in the ground for the Eglinton West subway line last century.

I don't know why we'd ignore 60 years of DRL planning (not to mention that actual shovels in the ground for the Queen subway was in the 1940s). Though more relevantly the detailed TTC studies started in 2011. First shovels in the ground (for the Exhibition station contract) was 10 years later in 2022. That's double the time.

I'm hoping to run by there later this week or weekend and will get photos of the WDCB

Edit: correct the acronym of the West Don Crossing Bridge
I ran by the WDCB site south of the (soon to be destroyed) OSC site late this afternoon. A cement truck arrived while I was there, but I didn't see where it poured its load. Apologies for the contrast on these... It was close to sunset.

Anyway, there is a small temporary/portable crane and what looks like a piling drill rig. This is just north of where the new hydro tower was installed.

Here you can see the complete hydro tower on the west side of the river

And the dismantled old tower

I'll try to visit in better conditions

^ so is one tower now going to have all the wires whereas before it was two towers?
There were three of the single pole towers with three arms and a bar at the top. They seem to have replaced the north most ones with these new towers. So it appears to be a one-for-one replacement. I can't comment on long-term plans for the other towers or if this has resulted in a change in capacity.

Here's another update on the Dundas & Logan bridgework:

Upcoming Station open houses:

Once these bridges are completed including east harbour, in theory how much track can be layed through that corridor. I mean that's a good amount of length of the line no?

I believe they’re targeting six tracks. Two for OL and four for GO. I’m not sure if the corridor is wide enough to install more than six tracks.

Yup it's 6 tracks in total. However only 3 GO tracks will be initially built when they do the switchover to the new bridges soon. The 4th GO track will only be built when they're building the OL tracks which will come much later

Are you expecting the third track to be laid this spring with the two weekend closures for construction?

When do you think the second set of three tracks begins construction?
