I could never hate you @crisp. Truth be known it was Stan Alldritt's housemaid that dished the tower news. She said that she overheard Stan Sr. mumbling about it in one of his ghostly, nightly wanderings. If it comes from "the other side" one has to believe it -- spectral knowledge, the foundation of all human intelligence.

Lol a lot of Alldritt's rumours must come from the old man's nightly wanderings.

I’d be totally happy if this became a nice small park with a fountain and benches all round it
I would prefer a nice building with a recreation of elements of the Tegler to be built here asap, but if that doesn't happen something like the privately owned Melcor park space east of 102 Street and south of Jasper Ave would not be bad.

Would your proposed park also include the enclosed fence?

It is not my decision, but I would prefer not enclosed like it. For many years the Melcor space actually was open, but things happened so they felt the need to control the space more.

Of course, in their case they also have a building right next to the space so this gives the tenants access to the space, which probably would not be the case on the 101 Street space.
