The property of 393 Dundas St E is listed among the City's Open Door affordable housing plans. That address appears to be the current sliver of parking space on the SW corner at Milan Street. It's roughly halfway between Sherbourne and Parliament.

The plans currently call for 12 residential units to be built on this site, to be operated by St. Jude's Community Homes.

The new renderings are added to the DB. The overall height just changed from 16.72m to 18.23m. This was submitted as a SPA.

@HousingNowTO, any idea why this never moved forward after receiving funding whilst 7 Vanauley did?
No special info -- but 4-Storey / 12-Units is pretty much too small to fund / build, especially on such a tiny & constrained site.

ST. JUDE COMMUNITY HOMES (SJCH) - already operates 37 self-contained apartment units at 431 Dundas Street East, so maybe they thought they could make this site at 393 work as a quasi-expansion of their exisiting Dundas Street site -

Also, ST. JUDE COMMUNITY HOMES is a small organization, and the have been more successful using MURA money to buy-up old apartment buildings - (February 8, 2024)
