I think the next property that would be nice to be developed would be the corner of 105th Street across the road from MacEwen and across the road from the LRT Plaza or also the expansion of the 105 MacEwen building to fill in the parking lot between the current building and the LRT Plaza

That 105 St. corner lot will likely remain parking for a while—the parking people at MacEwan are pushing for a permanent parkade structure there (from what I’ve heard). I believe the expansion of the 105 building is very much in their plans and will act as a grand entry to the campus. I think the plans are for a new science building next and maybe this is where it ends up.

Wow that's interesting, if a Parkade gets built in that area there I can see this as a potential good revenue stream for MacEwen. Not only will they get all the daily students and staff parking but then they can also generate more revenue from evening parking for hockey games and events at Rogers Place. I wonder if they did build a Parkade that if they could have a ground level retail spots and have the parking above that first level. At least with something like that it would still contributes nicely to the area and also provide the parking
