I live around here and am very excited for all the new developments, road work (Davenport extension, Gunns road extension, etc) and especially the St Clair/Old Weston UP station. The area could really use some investment and a glow-up, with a lot of vacant or re-developable land. That being said, this is disappointing (and ugly) and the height of the towers combines with number of units is untenable, especially for being on a narrow road with an at-grade rail crossing. It's continually frustrating that all the proposals for the area range from extremely 'mid' to terrible. Aside from 1500 St Clair West, which I'm sure won't turn out at proposed.

What an awful park. They should try and expand Wadsworth or Earlscourt, instead of making a little pocket of greenspace that feels like the parks in Bradford that are surrounded entirely by backyards.

This location in a very historic area near a future transit station deserves better. No one should be proposing massive blank walls like those ones along a public street in this day and age.

One positive of this latest update is that it appears to have pedestrian connectivity from Old Weston through to Lindner.
